-Flora story

Back in Los Angeles, I pressed and air-dried flower petals of the flowers I grew in the small garden that I built myself. I would put them up on the wall hangings I made and use them with the abstractly crocheted coasters I crocheted. The flowers were everywhere around me anywhere I went, and I learned to be and live with nature that surrounded us. I named this work Flora after these years of my art-making with wool and wool blend yarns.

Abstractly crocheted multi-purpose coasters somewhat remind you of nature or a flower. I use baby alpaca 100% wool yarn and alpaca wool blend yarn for these coasters. I freely and intentionally make these coasters with nature in mind. Each is a unique and organic work, and I hope you enjoy them for years to come.
